Summer 2024 Programming

We’re excited to announce our summer programing – where children are invited to grow in their faith, deepen friendships, enjoy competition, learn through storytelling, and experience joy and wonder.

Blue Knights & Little Flowers

Blue Knights

Blue Knights is a half-day camp aimed at teaching the truths of the Catholic faith to boys K-6 through games, activities, crafts, saints' biographies, scripture, and the catechism, using materials developed by retired Marine and Catholic author, Dan McGuire.

Leader: Mr. Doug Eiben. July 29-August 2, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost: $65 per student. Please drop your child off at the Cohassett entrance (car line) in the morning. We will dismiss out the same side doors at noon.

Little Flowers

Little Flowers is a half-day camp for girls grades K-6 that teaches virtues and the love of our Catholic faith through activities, games, crafts, saints biographies, scripture, and the catechism, using materials based upon documents by Father Lasance and the writings of St. Thérèse of Lisieux.

Leader: Mrs. Christine Joyce. July 29-August 2, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost: $65 per student. Please drop your child off at the Cohassett entrance (car line) in the morning. We will dismiss out the same side doors at noon.

Theater Camp

Work on your onstage and backstage skills in this week-long camp! High School students (if they choose to do so) will have the opportunity to learn the production staff side of theater, including directing. All students (in grades 3-12) will practice:

  • Auditioning

  • Acting

  • Improv

  • Singing

  • Dancing

  • Character Work

  • Stage Crew Work

  • Backstage Roles

The week will culminate in a fun performance at 3pm following the last day of camp!
Leader: Miss Jill Zesut. June 10-14, 2024, from 11:45-3pm. Cost is $120 per student for the week. Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing. Open to rising 3rd-12th graders.

Crochet Club

Learn the basics of crocheting or just come practice your skills with Mrs. Cudnik! Mrs. Cudnik can also read patterns if a girl is interested in learning how to read patterns. Bring your own project or complete the group project (pattern provided and taught by Mrs. Cudnik). Bring your own hooks and yarn or use some of Mrs. Cudnik's hooks and scrap yarn.

Leader: Mrs. Emily Cudnik. June 24-28, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost: $65 per student. Open to rising 5th-12th graders.

Tennis Camp

Learn basic skills and practice your game with Mrs. Emily Cudnik!

  • Sports Gear: each participant will need a racquet and a can of tennis balls. Good sneakers recommended.

  • Cost: $110 per student ($10 discount for siblings, example Cece and Charlie would pay $100 each, $20 total savings).

  • Location: Lakewood High School tennis courts just down the street from Padre Pio Academy (0.5 miles)

Junior Tennis Camp (open to rising 4-6 graders)

Session 1: July 8-12, 10:30am-noon

Session 2: August 12th-16th, 10:30am-noon

Tennis Camp (open to rising 7-12 graders)

Session 1: July 22-26, 10:30am-noon

Session 2: August 5th-9th, 10:30am-noon

*These ten hours may be used in combination with other activities to earn high school PE credit. Please use the flex credit application.
